Jeremy S

Hey there šŸ‘‹ I'm Jeremy Sarduy

Cybersecurity Professional & Computer Science Master's Candidate

I bridge the gap between Security Operations and Software Architecture.

My professional philosophy is simple: You cannot effectively defend a system unless you understand how to build it, and you cannot build a robust system without understanding how to defend it. I am currently transitioning from operational security roles into secure software engineering and research.

My Academic Journey

The Foundation
B.S. Cybersecurity

My undergraduate studies provided a rigorous foundation in the defensive side of technology. I gained deep expertise in:

  • Network Defense & Incident Response
  • Regulatory Compliance (PCI-DSS, HIPAA)
  • Risk Management & Digital Forensics

This degree taught me what needs to be protected and why.

The Evolution
M.S. Computer Science (Candidate)

Currently, I am expanding my scope from protecting systems to architecting them. My current research focuses on:

  • Collaborative Intelligence Frameworks (NestShield)
  • Advanced Python Development
  • Distributed Systems Architecture

This degree is teaching me how to build the solutions of tomorrow.

Current Goal

I am currently preparing for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam to formalize my foundational knowledge and demonstrate industry-standard competency in network security and risk management.

Beyond the Keyboard

When I'm not coding or researching, I’m training to become a Pilot. Navigating the skies requires the same situational awareness, disciplined checklists, and calm under pressure that I bring to Cybersecurity.
